LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF

JASPER STEWART



            In the Name of God Amen, I, Jasper Stewart of Rowan County Kentucky, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament.


            I direct that all my debts an d funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as conveniently may be, out of my estate. First I give and bequeath to Adie Stewart, my wife, one Dollar, and to

William Stewart, my son, one Dollar. Second, I give, devise and bequeath to Martha Markwell, my mother, all the remainder of my personal property, and also all my interest in and to the Alex Stewart farm and on which the said Martha Markwell now resides, the same being a one sixth interest in said farm.


            Third, I direct that my mother Martha Markwell be made Executrix of my will without Bond — This November 10th 1906.

            I W.L. Day, Clerk of the County Court for the County and State aforesaid Do Certify that the foregoing will was at the December Term of the Rowan County Court 1906 produced in open Court and was probated by law and at the January Term 1907 said will was ordered to be recorded, where the same with this Certificate have been duly recorded in my office — Given under my hand, this 8th day of January 1907.
